Another Gloucester Rugby Academy product, Freddie Clarke has successfully made the step up into the first team and is fast approaching 100 appearances for the Cherry and Whites.

Initially, the backrow forward spent time in the Bath Rugby Academy, before finding his feet with London Scottish in the Greene King IPA Championship.

His form for London Scottish alerted the Cherry and Whites for whom Clarke made nine first team appearances in his first season at the club, and he quickly became a regular in 2017-18, making 27 appearances and signing a new contract.

Clarke continues to be a regular performer for Gloucester Rugby and has the ability to play either flanker or second row.
