Argentinian international, Santiago Socino arrived at Kingsholm with Premiership experience under his belt, having made 34 appearances for Newcastle during his spell with the Falcons.
Making 10 appearances in his first season at Gloucester Rugby, the Argentine is a quality operator and got over the try line at the Ricoh in the Cherry and Whites’ victory over Wasps.
Similarly to Santiago Carreras, Socino carries a European passport, meaning that he does not count towards the foreign player quota.
