Royal performance by the Black and Blues

On a bitterly cold day Witney were eager to show the home support a good performance. Windsor struggling at the foot of the table looked our best chance for a home win.

12 minutes in a try from  Jonathan Derrick and a conversion by Oliver Brian settled the crowd. 

16 minutes a try James Merriman got the score to 12-0

29 minutes a try from Rory Atkins 17-0

36 Minutes a try from Jonathan Derrick and a Conversion Oliver Brian saw the bonus point secured and half time came 24-0

48 Minutes a try from George Blackburn  for Windsor made the score 29-5. This reminded the lads that the game isn’t over until the whistle blows and a try from captain Robert Coe and the conversion from Oliver Brian saw the home side go further ahead 36-5

71' minutes a try from  Oliver Brian and his own conversion  took the final score to 43-5

A vey satisfying result which leapfrogged Witney up to 7th in the table.

This combined with the fact we got 3 sides out this weekend made the chairman one happy chap.
