Schools Tag Programme 2023/24

Tag Rugby is a non-contact form of rugby union, played by all ages at clubs and schools.

At most rugby clubs in the community, children play Tag Rugby from 5yo to 8yo.

At primary schools, children play Tag Rugby from Y2 to Y6.

The programme will run from September 2023 to June 2024.
It is open to school years 3, 4, 5 & 6.
The coaching sessions will be run by one of our highly experienced Community Development Coaching team, at your school.
Teachers and students will both benefit from the programme.
Both the programme and festival have been priced reasonably, to ensure inclusivity.

Year 3 & 4

September 2023 to Christmas 2023.

6 weeks of 1 hour training with each year group (2 classes) *Flexibility dependent on class size*

Option to take part in a Tag Festival at Kingsholm Stadium at the end of the 6 weeks.

Year 5 & 6

January 2024 to June 2024.

6 weeks of 1-hour training with each year group (2 classes) *Flexibility dependent on class size*

Option to take part in a Tag Festival at Kingsholm Stadium at the end of the 6 weeks.
